Debian
Debian is a free operating system known for its adherence to the Unix and free software philosophies, and for its abundance of options - the current release includes over eighteen thousand software packages for eleven computer architectures.
Debian is the basis for several other distributions, including Ubuntu, and is known especially for its strict policies regarding its packages and the quality of its releases. These practices afford easy upgrades between releases and easy automated installation and removal of packages.

KDE Foundation
KDE (K Desktop Environment) is a free desktop environment and development platform built with Trolltech's Qt toolkit. It runs on most Unix and Unix-like systems, such as Linux, BSD, AIX, Unixware, OpenServer and Solaris.
While developers and users are located all over the world, the project retains a strong base in Germany and is managed by KDE e.V, a non-profit organization.
As well as working closely with KDE e.V in the SQO-OSS project, Sirius is a corporate sponsor of their work.
Software Quality Observatory for Open Source Software (SQO-OSS)
SQO-OSS is a consortium of leading European Open Source projects, consultants and research institutions from Greece, the UK, Germany and Sweden that is developing a comprehensive suite of software quality assessment tools. These tools will enable the objective analysis and benchmarking of Open Source software.

The Confederation of British Industry (CBI) is a pressure group and a lobbying organisation for British business owners. Approximately 80% of the FTSE 100 and nearly half of the FTSE 350 are members of the CBI.

Catalist (formerly GCat) is a framework agreement with 25 of the UK's leading I.T. suppliers, negotiated on the Public Sector's behalf by OGCbuying.solutions, an Agency of the Office of government Commerce.
